Weekly report for MonGirl Conquest v0.2.8

Hello! MonGirl Conquest’s v0.2.7 Archmage release wave is up for grabs! Don’t forget to check it out if you haven’t already.

Artist began with their tasks. We are planning 3 new scenes for the next update. Namely, Queen Adia gets her second story scene, Cordelia the mermaid gets her first story scene, and the tongue-twister (young froggy) gets her 3rd regular scene. Earth elemental should be ready too, even if she won’t immediately join the cast because the snow zone will arrive later. There’s a bit of an extra in the works, but I’m not sure if it will be finished before the next update, so let it remain a secret for now.

At the moment, I’m focused on the new content for the main quest. It will be pretty short and focused on Queen Adia giving you private lessons so you can impress Princess Rani later. Plus, you’ll start with the preparations to scout out the next island.

Cordelia will get the third and last part of her quest. This time it will be focused on combat and we want to try out some co-op combat mechanics. I’ll post more details on this once we get to the concrete implementation.

I’m done with Steam preparations for MonGirl Conquest and now it’s on the onboarding brigade. Depending on how nitpicky they will be, the game will be available in mid to late December, most likely. If you are interested in getting MonGirl Conquest in Steam – stay tuned for updates around these dates. I’ll make an info post once the game gets into Steam.

Also, don’t forget to participate in the active “next girl” poll for the upcoming winter zone. The winner will join the monster girl roster in future updates.

Fixed a potential error if the player tried to exit the desktop version of the game via the main menu.
