Weekly report for MonGirl Conquest v0.4.5


Hello! MonGirl Conquest’s v0.4 Magus wave is up for grabs! Don’t forget to check it out if you haven’t already.

No previews from the artists, but they are working on their tasks. First sneak peeks should arrive closer to the weekend. The only change since the last weekly report is the scene type for the new girl who will arrive in v0.4.5 – snow leopard mommy. She’ll get a doggy H scene to help with variety. Lately, we switched over to newer types of H scenes and the first one got put to the side for a bit. Stay tuned for previews!

I’m done with new maps, both for the main quest and Cordelia’s optional adventure. You’ll get to see both deep caves filled with lava and magic crystal grotto where Cordelia’s tribe lives. Logic-wise, I’m finishing working on the optional quest first because it involves some special mechanics for Kallista’s duel. The main quest will come next and take up time for finishing and playtesting right until the release date.

As for the release date, we are aiming for the usual window – May 14th-16th, but one of the artist reported some problems that could affect her art pack. If something big happens, I’ll make a separate info post.

Don’t forget to participate in feedback polls. We have 2 such polls active at the moment. The first one is about narrative’s length in H scenes. And the second one is how did you like Cordelia’s narrative for her titfuck H scene. The original quest author did it, and he wants your opinion before starting a second H scene going.

Fixed a problem with some seduction skills remaining in a player’s skill list after the encounter was over. No need to do anything on your side after the upcoming update. Extra skills will disappear on their own before any encounter after the next update arrives.

Fixed a mismatch between Cordelia’s dialogue sprite and her portrait in some dialogue scenes.

Adjusted the exit trigger on the optional zone where you fight the golem miniboss. Now, the exit trigger properly reacts to both walking over the exit point and clicking/tapping on it.

Slimmed up some of the old animations to speed up Spine animation loading times for low-end platforms.
