Uh... It's hard to say anything without details, but there are no paywalls in the game. You should check the big boys like Ubisoft for these. My best guess you need normal crystals, but it's hard to be exact without any details.

No, I'm afraid not. Yorna was the first big game I made and it's a code/plugin mess on the inside. Adding new ones will require a lot of work to properly check for all possible problems and it's close to impossible with all the hours I'm putting into MonGirl Conquest.
No. About 95% of the puzzles are completely optional, and the ones that you need to solve for the plot are easier to beat. So, if you are stuck with a puzzle - you can safely ignore it most of the time.

So, getting several wins with a perfect 21 is either really bad luck or some changes to the game. By statistics, it's highly unlikely to happen in a prolonged time period.

A lot of time passed while I was trying to restore the game in Steam and it got a lot of changes meanwhile. When Yorna finally got back, I no longer had the project for the old public version to make such a patch. The hard drive that had it died, and I didn’t bother with putting it on the online storage since up until the finish line, I had no idea how many changes I had to do to pass all the extra checks on the game.
That’s why the old public version is available “as-is” and I can’t perform big changes on the old versions in general. To be honest, it’s not a big loss. Especially if you think about the new art packs for other girls.

Some were directly replaced. To be honest, you shouldn't bother it since the biggest lost that you will miss is Leary's scene.
I am on mac, and when I try to open it, it says I need permission and cannot open it, any advise or instructions you can give me so I can open it? Oh and my account is permitted to open the file (in settings etc)
Heya! It’s pretty simple. Try out the public version and see if you will enjoy the game, and want to get more content. That's pretty much what the full version is, more of similar content. More H scenes, mongirl interactions, and so on. Then, decide if you want to buy the full version. Even if not, you can always tip me. Every little bit helps.

It must be comparing ana old public version with the last release of Steam since there were several changes to names and graphics. Also, yes, the public version has less content than the full/Steam one.
This version is public. It has less content, though the whole main story can be completed. Steam's version has more stuff, just like the paid version on my Patreon. I plan to add an option to buy the full game directly here but need to work out some details with Itch's support.
Check out your quest journal when in doubt. The mine is on the Northern side of Ikko island. There's only one big pink crystal there and the boss will block the entrance to it. You don't need to solve the puzzle to get it, just beat the boss.

The earth crystal puzzle is absolutely dog crap have been doing it for a few hours and each time I get it to 1 and I press it and had to redo the row
Uh... You don't need to solve any puzzles to get it. Just beat the area boss, Agni. She's in a zone to the left from the puzzle area.

Solve puzzles and get better gear. If you'll use your head, the game won't require any real grinding.

You will be able to do this after you'll master the flame element with Ayane's (the kitsune) help. Just continue with the main quest
